Frequently asked questions

Like any investment, renewable energy carries risks: material cost fluctuations, regulatory change, energy market shifts. The solar sector is growing fast, supported by favourable public policy, rising demand and constant technological progress. SCER minimises these risks through rigorous project management, full transparency with investors and solid strategic partnerships.

Your return depends on overall company performance, financial results and growth strategy. Our model relies on stable, long-term solar projects, which supports a progressive valuation of your shares. SCER aims to distribute dividends as soon as project profitability allows, generally from year 3 or 4, while managing its assets prudently. Reselling your shares may also generate a capital gain if company value increases.

SCER is an emerging solar panel manufacturer in a fast-growing market. As a start-up we take a prudent, responsible approach with investors: expected returns depend on production ramp-up, market demand, operating profitability and our ability to grow sustainably. Our goal is stable growth with attractive medium-to-long-term value creation. It would be premature to announce a figure at this stage.

Investing in a green-technology manufacturer such as SCER may give access to provincial (Quebec) and federal tax measures: credits for investing in innovative or early-stage Quebec companies, deductions tied to clean-technology investments, and other transition incentives. Eligibility depends on investor type, holding period and company qualification — we recommend consulting a tax specialist.
